Features such as anti-tamper screws, enclosed anti-tamper glazing, security tape and the glass lock, alongside the unique high security ridge end, ensure there isn’t an easy way to enter your property via your flat roof lantern. All of these innovative features combine to make this product the UK’s most secure aluminium roof lantern. All the roof lanterns we offer come with a laminated glass as standard for extra security. Meaning that if someone try’s to break the glass it will only crack but not shatter stopping intruders coming in, keeping your home safe and secure. This coupled to high performance with 28mm glazing means that we offer leading performance, far superior to traditional polyamide systems based around 24mm glazing. A unique co-extruded perimeter seal also ensures draughts and rain are kept safely outside. The 28mm glazing slot within this roof lantern also allows acoustic dampening glass to be fitted if required. Thermal transmittance, also known as a U-value, measures the rate of transfer of heat. SHIPPING

All of our shipping is Free of charge on orders over £400 within the London (M25) Area.

Orders are received within 5 Working Days (except for Custom sized Skylights)

We will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time, once payment has been made.

Our own driver delivers all of our items within London (M25) in order to guarantee the safe arrival of our products.

Please be aware that as our drivers are alone and are pre loaded in our warehouse, we will require yourself or your builders to be onsite for the acceptance of our products on orders above 40kg.

We deliver between 8 am and 5 pm from Monday to Friday (sometimes delivery can be delayed due to traffic up to 8 pm) and we can give you an hour or two notice on the day of delivery, but we cannot guarantee a specific time or offer a strict timeslot.

Most of our products weigh a considerable amount varying from 10kg to 280kg there fore it may need more than two, four or even six men to unload depending on the size and weight of your product.

We will not accept liability for any broken skylights during the unloading process as it is down to the customer to organise this process on orders above 40kg.

In the event that the customer does not attend the delivery appointment or no one is there to accept your product, we will try and contact you via phone and text and voicemail before our driver leaves your delivery address.

If no contact is made, we will have no option but to return your product to our warehouse.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Roof Lantern Installation Guide

Step 1

Apply suitable sealant to the perimeter of the kerb upstand.

Step 2

Place the ring beam on the kerb. Ensure it is square and centralise.

Secure the ring beam through the pre–drilled holes using the 70mm pan head screws supplied.

Step 4—Hip Assembly

Position the Hip bar into the crown moulding and slide down to locate.

Secure the Hip to the moulding using 13mm Hex bolt and washer. Repeat for all hips.

Step 6—Rafter and Hip Attachment

Place the frame (spider} into the ring beam, position and fix with 13mm pan headscrews - as illustration. The screw position is important! N.B The screws need to be positioned above the yellow tape, as pictured.

Step 7—Common Rafter Assembly

Slide rafter on to locating bracket and secure through predrilled holes in ridge with 4.8mm x 50mm self drilling screws.

Step 8—Jack Rafter Assembly

Position jack rafter into location on the eaves beam, drop jack rafter bracket into hip channel, push tight and fix with 4.8mm x 50mm self drilling screws. Secure all rafters ends to eaves with 13mm self drilling pan head screws.

Step 9—Ridge Body Assembly

Position the ridge body with location dots at same end. Attach with 80mm self drilling pan head screws.

Remove yellow security tape film in prepara- tion for glazing.

Position the glass end closure centrally to the sealed unit making sure there is an equal gap each end.

All glass units must be pushed up tight to the ridge before locating onto the ring beam or the end closure won't locate. Press the glass down onto the security tape and ensure the end closure locates into the ring beam pocket.

Ensure top caps are flush with the bottom of the bar and tap down firmly with a rub- ber/nylon mallet.

Fit the end caps with security screws provided - two screws per cap. (TR20 security bit supplied}.

Fit the top cap seal into the top cap and position on top of the frame (spider}.

Secure the top cap in place using 6mm Allen bolt from the underside. Insert the plastic cover over the Allen bolt.
