Warranty Terms & Conditions
At Saris-Extensions, we take pride in offering top-quality skylights designed to enhance your living spaces with natural light and aesthetic appeal. We stand by the durability and performance of our products, which is why we provide comprehensive warranty coverage for each skylight type.

Warranty Period
The warranty period commences on the date of supply and covers manufacturing defects and issues related to the specified components. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, accidents, misuse, or natural disasters.
Warranty Service
Should a product defect arise within the warranty period that is covered under this warranty, the Company will, at its discretion, either repair the defective product or, if repair is not feasible, replace the defective component or product at no additional charge. This includes charges related to delivery and/or installation if these services were included in the original order. The replacement or repair of components under this warranty does not extend the original warranty term.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be submitted promptly upon discovery of the defect. To initiate a claim, customers should contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a warranty claim form, which must be returned alongside proof of purchase. Upon validation of the claim form, a technician will be dispatched to assess the claim. The Company will cover all reasonable mainland United Kingdom travel expenses for this purpose. If no defect is identified, the cost of the technician's time and travel will be charged at the current daily rate.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will the Company’s liability exceed the purchase price of the product, not to exceed the product’s current list price, excluding taxes and handling fees.
Saris-Extensions shall not be responsible for repairs, replacements, or refunds for any such instances:
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
Improper Installation or Modification:
This warranty does not cover product failure or damage resulting from improper installation or modifications, including but not limited to: a) Adjustments or corrections arising from improper installation. b) Failure due to alterations or additions that were not part of the original product design. c) Units incorrectly assembled or installed by parties other than Saris-Extensions.
Damage Due to Various Causes:
a) Damage incurred due to improper storage, installation, use, or maintenance, including stress cracks and environmental factors. b) Exposure to conditions exceeding the specified performance specifications (available upon request). c) Water infiltration, except when caused by manufacturing defects or workmanship issues. d) Damage due to condensation.
Safe Handling, Transportation, and Storage Guidelines
Our insulated glass units are guaranteed not to experience significant visibility obstruction from fogging or internal film formation, due to seal failure from material or workmanship defects.
The warranty will be void if the rooflight is not installed in strict accordance with the Saris Extensions Installation and Maintenance Manual, or if it is fixed to an upstand that does not comply with the minimum projection requirements specified in BS6299:2003.
