⚠️ Important Notice
Some suppliers cut costs by using thin glass in large rooflights — this can cause sagging and water pooling.
Our tests show that reinforced, thicker glass is essential for safety and durability.
At Saris-Extensions, every rooflight is built to UK standards, ensuring lasting strength and peace of mind.

Our pitched roof skylights are manufactured to the highest standard making them frameless from the inside and out. They are easily installed with lead flashing, that’s cut on-site that is suitable for all roofs. As they are frameless internally they let in more light.
This high-performance, non-opening frameless skylight is triple glazed with 6mm toughened, self-cleaning glass and a U Value of only 0.9 W/m²K. The internal quoted glass size is 1200 x 1800 mm, see the structural diagram below.
When purchasing a pitched roof skylight for a tiled roof from us it is very simple.
All our skylights come triple-glazed as standard and have solar protection.
The upstand is formed with the same opening as you can see in our drawings.
All you need to add is the flashing of your choice in our accessories section.
The flashing is then wrapped around your upstand sealing the upstand to your roof tiles.
Make sure you have added the right amount of flashing, the full circumference of your skylight will require flashing.
Our rolls come in 7.5-meter lengths. Let’s say you have bought a 1000 x 2000mm skylight you then require a total of 6 meters as you have 2x 1 meter sides and 2x 2 meters becoming a total of six lineal meters therefore one roll of flashing will be required.
When it comes to choosing a roof light for your home, we know that safety is an important deciding factor.
This product conforms to British Standards & Building Regulations and has all Safety Markings.
It is CE marked which is a certification mark that indicates conformity with the relevant EU directives and standards for products sold within Europe.
Our Skylights can be installed at a maximum pitch of 45 degrees.
At Saris-Extensions, we combine elegance with cutting-edge technology. These skylights are not just additions to your roof; they are masterpieces of design, enhancing the energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal of your home or office. Important Notes:
Over the years, we've observed numerous errors and poor practices in skylight installations that have led to persistent issues. To help you avoid these pitfalls, we're eager to share our accumulated expertise and knowledge. We highly recommend checking our detailed installation materials to ensure you apply the best practices for a flawless and durable installation.
When selecting sizes for our Skylights, please note that the listed dimensions correspond to the bottom (internal) glass panel. Each skylight's top panel extends an additional 100mm on each side, making the overall externally visible size 200mm larger in both width and length. This design ensures a robust, weather-resistant seal while maximizing the internal visibility and light entry of your skylight installation.
