Details:

Please make sure you remove 20mm from your reveal to reveal size which will leave a gap between your blind and wall of 10mm all the way around.

This GAP is designed for trim that will visually remove any size differences in the wall as openings are never a perfect size. It also allows for the blind to be fitted without strain.

The size of the electrical blinds is 1115x1115mm.
Colour: white

Blinds are individually made to order and are non-refundable.

Battery-operated blinds include:
– Blind
– 12v Somfy RTS Motor
– Somfy 12v Li-Ion Battery Pack
– Somfy Situo 1 RTS Remote
– Somfy 12v Li-Ion Charger

Hardwired blinds include:
– Blind
– 12v Somfy RTS Motor
– Somfy Situo 1 RTS Remote

Profile dimensions:
– Height of profile – 36mm
– Width of the length of profile (short side) – 60mm
– Width of the sides of profile (long side) – 45mm

The power supply to the blinds we supply is always on the short side from where the blind retracts from and stacks to. The power supply cable should be on the top side towards your skylight.

These electric blinds fit our skylight 1200x1200mm.

We recommend fitting our blind horizontally, 200mm below the skylight. These standard blinds open and close on the shorter side.

A 3-core 0.75mm cable is compatible with the electric system.

My wife and I came across Saris Extensions while searching for skylights for our extension, and although we were initially unsure about the level of service and the quality of the roof lights, our experience has been exceptional. The service was outstanding, and the product style and quality are genuinely beautiful.

We initially ordered 2no 1000 x 1000 rooflights with installation kits. As our extension roof progressed, we contacted Saris Extensions to ask whether we could exchange both units for larger sizes. They agreed immediately, with only a minimal return fee and the simple requirement that the original products remained unopened. The entire process was seamless.

Emre, who supported us from the initial purchase through to the exchange, was absolutely amazing — customer service at its best. Their delivery drivers were also fantastic, though it’s worth noting that you will need two people present to safely receive any glazing delivery.

We will have to see how the product fares after installation, we have purchased their installation kit and will be following installation guide as per their website. I will provide an update if we encounter any issues, but for now, based on service, communication and product style, we would not hesitate to recommend Saris Extensions.

Purchased 800x1500 & 1000x1500

I bought a flat roof skylight from these guys and after a month of it being on my possession, on the day of fitment I found it to be cracked. I rang the support team and was told to email them. I sent an email with all relevant photos and had very quick responses. They dealt with it very professionally and were very helpful. I could not fault how they handled it.

Really pleased with the skylights I ordered. They arrived exactly as expected and I’m very happy with the quality.

I also wanted to mention the delivery driver, who was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure everything was delivered safely and made the whole experience very easy.

Great product and excellent service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Ordering was quick and easy. Ordered late on a Friday afternoon and was delivered on the Monday afternoon (although I paid the extra for 1-2 day delivery) now just got to wait and see what there like when in. But look good so far. Yes I would recommend so far. If fitting not so good I'll update my post.
UPDATE 3yrs later fitting went well all measurements were accurate. They still look good and no leaks or discolouration or misting. Really happy with purchase.

This is the 2nd time I've bought from Saris and I'm delighted with the service they give from order to delivery.

I had an excellent experience with the delivery handled by Gabi! It was quite a complex transport, with a very large item that definitely required effort. However, thanks to Gabi’s experience, everything was managed flawlessly. The delivery went perfectly, and the item was smoothly brought inside the house. I wholeheartedly recommend Saris Extension – it was a very good deal at a great price. Once again, big thanks, Gabi!

Shafak and Toni were great on delivery today and helped us move the skylight safe inside the property as I was on my own. Great service and they called before to confirm delivery day

"I had a brilliant experience with Saris Extensions from start to finish. I ordered a flat roof skylight, and I was honestly blown away by how quickly it arrived. The packaging was incredibly impressive—it was clear they took great care to ensure such a fragile item reached me in perfect condition. An overall amazing ordering experience; I can’t recommend them enough!"

We've been ordering from Saris for years. They have the best quality roof lights for the price point by far. We've just installed another 3 x units on our newest project and will be ordering another 5 roof lights in the new year. From the price, ease of ordering to delivery and customer care, they can't be beat. Not a paid sponsor, just a happy customer.

Roof lights and skylight windows have been fantastic addition to most properties for many years, due to their high energy-saving qualities and their sleek and modern look. In addition to them, skylight blinds are becoming more and more popular by adjusting the amount of sunlight, entering the space and therefore keeping the temperature of your office or home in the cooler or the warmer range.
Our roof light blinds and shades add a touch of modern, luxury design to any environment and allow you to enjoy natural light at its best any time of the day.

Saris Extensions has found a professional and experienced manufacturer of blinds that perfectly match our skylights. The blinds are elegant and stylish – designed with functionality in mind.
You can control the amount of light that comes in. Whether you want to darken your bedroom or control glare, Saris Extensions makes it easy.
Our Honeycomb Blinds are sleek and modern blind that provides thermal insulation and anti-glare protection while blocking light almost completely.

Charming honeycomb folds
Reduce heat by approximately 70% by isolating air pockets*

Recommendations:

We recommend a custom blind for customers who have pitched roofs or pre-existing or custom skylights. Please note the following when purchasing a custom blind:

Please measure your opening exactly. You will need to take this measurement and reduce it by 15-20mm to ensure the blind and frame will fit correctly inside the opening.

We recommend fitting the blind horizontally 200mm below the skylight. A standard blind opens and closes on the shorter side. Please note the wire exits the middle of the frame on the opposite side to the blind.

If selecting a hard wire option-you can use a 3-core 0.75mm cable to wire to the cable that comes out of the blind as the transformer is in-built in the blind, which will down step the voltage from 240v to 24v-that supplies the motor.

If you have a flat roof, you may order your blind at the same time as your skylight unit.
